Sometimes I go by "Moni," and other times I respond to "Neens." [It's amazing I don't have a complex.] I was born in New York City, but raised in San Diego by the most unartistic parents ever. My dream as a child was to be a back up dancer for Janet Jackson. I soon came to the realization that just because I loved dancing in my living room to MTV's "The Grind," didn't necessarily qualify me.
In high school I accidentally ended up in an art class with a crazy teacher. And I haven't looked back. I graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Graphic Design.
I love listening to JohnnySwim, and I am slightly obsessed with Adele. I believe music can heal people. When I am not working you can find me running outdoors, doing yoga [so I can do all the nama-slaying], practicing my hand-lettering on napkins, or eating pizza. Because let's be honest, pizza is life.
